Had the pleasure of taking pictures of this beautiful young lady last weekend for her 8th grade promotion.  She is off to high school next year. Can not wait to do this again for her Senior pictures in 4 years. Thanks to Sharon for a great location idea!

Snow Day

One great thing about living in Phoenix, AZ is that in the winter time, we do not have to deal with the pains of snow, shoveling, frozen car doors,  and scraping windshields. Yet, it is just an hour and a half drive to go enjoy the snow in the northern part of the state. We did just that for a day back in March. Enjoyed a snowball fight and some sledding. I even hiked up the hill and went down the sled, and of course wiped out! Couldn't tell you the last time I went sledding.

 Someone ran out of energy, stopped in middle of the trail and threw a HUGE fit! 

I got so far behind the rest of the group waiting on the little one to find some energy, we stumbled upon a closed road... pay attention... see where the detour leads us. 

When he saw this sign all the tears magically dried up!
