week #39 Night Sky

Thanksgiving morning at about 4am (I know the week # doesn't match, but I have fallen behind and am trying to catch up before the end of the year)

I was in Payson at my parents house and the sky was so clear!  Amazing.  I had to sign into work at 430am, so took a few shots while waiting for the coffee to brew.  Wish i had more time to play around with some settings on the camera.  This was taken with ISO 160, f2.8 (should have opened it up a lot more and longer exposure), 57 sec exposure.   I did not do any color or white balance editing with this photo.

Sweet 16

 I have known Saffire for 10 years, and first started taking her portraits when she was 6 years old.  Its is amazing to see how fast these kids grow up to young adults.  It has been a pleasure to capture these moments for her and her family.  These are her sweet 16 photos we took  in Flagstaff, AZ.  It was a rainy day, had to dodge the drops, but I we all had a blast.  I know I was enjoying my time  away from the desert heat for the weekend.  Thanks again! Can't wait till next time!
