Pitstop in Texas

On the way home from Alabama, we stopped in Dallas, TX for the night.  We stayed with my husband's grandparents and had some time to visit.  The live on a golf course, however the golf course has no funds to stay open or be maintained, so looks like a wild prairie now.  So many fun insects and wildflowers for a photographer though.

Rusty and Carolyn

I had the pleasure of taking some holiday pictures for Rusty and Carolyn the other day.  It has been many years since they had professional pictures taken.  They want to send out photo Christmas cards this year.  I think everyone on their list will be pleasantly surprised to receive one of these adorable pictures of Rusty and Carolyn.  After the first few shots I think they loosened up a bit and started to have some fun with the pictures.  The location was beautiful, not many people around, weather gorgeous, sunlight perfect, and of course a smiling couple... that is very much in love... all the ingredients for a successful sitting.

Thanks Rusty and Carolyn, enjoy your portraits.

David and Rhonda

On October 16, 2010, at Rustler's Rooste in Phoenix, AZ, two became one.  Congratulations to David and Rhonda on their marriage.  It was a beautiful ceremony.  You two look so happy together, and very much in love.  Not to mention the new family you formed is beautiful.  I had a great time photographing their wedding, and I thank them very much for hiring me to capture memories of this special day, as this was the first wedding I have done professionally.  They liked my portfolio and my personality, they entrusted me to capture all the important moments of their blessed day.  Thank you to my assistant Eric Hadder, would not have gotten all of  these great shots if it wasn't for you.  I had a great time and am very excited to see what the future holds for Sunray Photography as we now move on to wedding photography as well.
