Parker

Andrea and I had a great plan for an adorable shot for Parker on a cute wooden chair on the dirt road between his Nana's and Great-Mamaw's houses.  Parker's mom even found a steal of $5 on the chair and painted it in advance for our photo session.  But, things don't always go as planned.  You just have to be prepared and take your best shot.  I think these pics are keepers :-) 

week #25 old

It was recently discovered where my late Grandparents go married.  The marriage certificate was found in their home after they passed.  When I went back to Alabama a few weeks ago to visit family, my cousin and I went to Southside Baptist Church to where James and Jewell joined as one on June 16, 1944.  It was probably the most beautiful church we have ever seen.  We got a grand tour from one of the employees of the sanctuary and other rooms in the church.  He told us that the church will be 100 years old this October. Also the bible I have in one of the pictures has a hand written date in the front of 1911 when it was given to the church.
