This is yellow meated watermelon was grown by my aunt in Alabama from my Papaw's watermelon seeds. Yummmmmm the BEST! I remember the days of going to the field and picking a watermelon (or 3) with Papaw, walking it back to the porch, slicing it into HUGE wedges, sitting on the bed of the pick-up truck, with salt shaker in hand, enjoying the juicy treat, with stickiness rolling down your arms and chin.
