When I think of something that all amusement parks, carnivals, and fairs all have in common, the Ferris Wheel always comes to mind.  You see them in movies as the classic date ride, the boy with his arm around the girl.  Some movies that have the timeless ferris wheel love scene are
The Notebook, Fear, Charlotte's Web, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, East of Eden, and Never Been Kissed.

I am a knitter and crocheter, that is my most crafty niche.  I love making props to use for newborn photos.  I never make two exactly the same, so when you have a newborn shoot with me you will have your choice of several adorable props to use for your baby it is sure to be a handmade original.

 This barrel was blue when my parents first moved into their house in 1983.  Never knew what is was for or why it was there, but we loved to play on in and around it.  There is no color left on it at all anymore (added some color with CS5), all rusted out, but every time I see it I still in vision it being blue. 

 who can tell me where this is?

Just love the beautiful blue skies in AZ, but a rainy day is always a welcome change.

Those of you who have met my youngest son know that he is addicted to his "dink".  The instant that he picks up this precious blanket his tongue sucking starts.   It is the most adorable thing!  I have never seen any other child do that, and none of his brothers (or parents) has been able to figure out how to mimic the motion.  He also "feels" the satin binding of the blanket.  He even now tests shirts, pants, fabric at stores, and his brothers blankets to see if they feel soft like Dink or not.

teenager!

WOW! has it really been since February when I blogged last?  It appears so!  I suppose I have some catching up to do, so bare with me.  Follow along it will be fun!  (i promise)

First thing on the agenda is most important.  My oldest has become a teenager!  He has grown up so much over the past 13 years!  He is becoming a young man faster than I can blink *SNIFF*SNIFF*  Yes, the fear of the teenage boy syndrome eating me out of house and home is under way and many, many, many, more years to come (2 more boys following in a short time... and in case you weren't thinking correctly, I will have 3 teenage boys for 3 consecutive years)  Better expand the pantry and start clipping (and using) those coupons!  This year I tried to make his dreaded annual photo shoot a bit more fun, I think I successfully found a fun location, with the help of my husband and a date night in the area, thanks hunny. xoxoxo  They are not the typical, in the park, by the lake pictures.  I always enjoy shooting at new locations, always up for an adventure and a challenge.  If it was the same old place every time things would get kinda boring.... right?
